Pia is an artist who lives in florence and works wherever creativity may take her. She began by working in the field of stop motion animation using different materials such as plasticine, paper, and sand. She was especially attracted by the potential for expressiveness inherent to said materials which allowed her to give full rein to her artistic talents. She then put her talents to work in the mock-up and special effects sectors, where her creative sensibility, her professionalism and flair quickly became distinguishing trademarks. She continues to work as a mock-up artist and in the stop-motion animation and special effects fields, mostly in commercials and as a food commercials director. She directs films for international brands and has received various awards for:

- 1st Prize at Concorso Internazionale della progettazione ceramica - City of Faenza (Italy)

- Technical Prize at the Festival International du Film Publicitaire at Cannes (France) with "DACTYLO" (Denmark)

- 1st Prize at Festival Agorà for Best tv film, with "TERME DI ACIREALE"

- Special prize from the Technical Jury at Concorso Gran Prix Italia, with "CARLSBERG" (film direction and mock-ups).
